ECOFRUX
Ecofrux represents three BIO crops - sea buckthorn, blueberries and hazelnuts - which grow on the hills of Lipova and Prunisor and which cover a total area of 131 ha. A true oasis of health in western Romania, an environment where plants grow naturally and produce the tastiest fruits. We have 3 varieties of authentic Romanian sea buckthorn: Mara, Clara and Dora, which enjoy a royal treatment in the nutritious land of the western hills of Romania. From these 3 varieties we produce one of the products richest in vitamin C, BIO Sea Buckthorn Nectar. The method of obtaining nectar is by cold pressing, followed by a slow pasteurization that helps to extend the shelf life up to 24 months. This operation is performed in a BIO accredited unit. Some people say that sea buckthorn is a kind of local ginseng, thanks to its many health benefits. First of all, sea buckthorn has 10 times more vitamin C than citrus fruits and 2 times more than rosehips. Vitamin C helps the immune system grow stronger and keep away free radicals that cause oxidative stress, associated with inflammation and many chronic diseases.
